TypeScript ADK or Python ADK?
Hi y'all, I'm a solo developer, and I was just wondering if I can use the TypeScript flavour of ADK, as it would be a bit difficult for me to switch between Python and TypeScript. Also, is there any difference between ADK for Python and ADK for TypeScript in terms of features and offerings?

I used Typescript ADK and deployed on cloudrun.
I think Antigravity is Python only.

Are there any limitations with ADK for TypeScript as compared to ADK for Python? I'm asking because i was reading the docs about streaming and they only have python and Java examples, no TypeScript. There is also docs about other topics but some don't have TypeScript examples. So that's why I was a bit confused.
Thanks for the reply!!

Hi there, good question. For this hackathon, the ADK language does not matter. The rules require "at least one Google Agent Framework: Google ADK, GenAI SDK, Antigravity SDK or GenKit." ADK for TypeScript meets that requirement, so building in TypeScript keeps you fully eligible. On feature parity, the Python and TypeScript versions are separate implementations. The docs do cover Python first in some areas, including streaming. Treat the official ADK TypeScript documentation and repository as the source of truth for what ships today. If a feature you need is not yet available there, you can build that part with Python ADK. Both count the same for eligibility.
