Google cloud credits

Hey guys! Quick question — do I need to set up a billing account for this, or can I just fill out the form and receive the credits?

Also, just to clarify, these credits are separate from the $300 credits we receive when we create a free billing account, right?

coz i have a google cloud account already .....but i havent set up the billing thing in that...so i can just fill the credits form and recive those credits??

The author of this thread (https://allthingsagentichackathon.devpost.com/forum_topics/44763-google-cloud-billing) mentioned in his comment that "when i try to redeem the code i see that i need to have an active billing account". So while I can't say for sure how it works as I've not received the credit myself, there's a high likelihood that a billing account will be required.

Hi there. The $150 hackathon credit is for participants who already have a Google Cloud account, so you're set to request it via the form (https://forms.gle/riGhgDSHkHeMx8Ca6); one code per entrant, by Aug 28 at 12:00 pm PT or while supplies last. To redeem the code you'll need an active Cloud Billing account on your project.

I’ve already submitted the form; how will I know if it’s been granted?

Hi, I'm participating in the Taskmaster track with my project
"EHCVM3 Agent." I already requested Google Cloud credits through
the Resources tab, but the credit pool was fully exhausted before
I could get one. I'm based in Benin and don't have access to a
standard international credit card — my prepaid card was declined
for billing verification on Google Cloud.

My agent pipeline is fully built and tested locally (3-agent ADK
sequential pipeline, working end-to-end), but I can't deploy to
Cloud Run without an active billing account, which is a submission
requirement. The deadline is Aug 31, and I'm running out of time
    to resolve this.

Is there any remaining credit allocation, alternative billing
verification method, or guidance you can offer for participants
in this situation? Happy to share my repo/progress if useful.
    Thank you.
